Live View Analytics Settings

In the Settings tab of Live View Analytics, you can configure the live view analytics of cameras in the current layout.

Edit

To set up live view analytics settings:

  1. Select the camera you want to edit, and click Edit.
  2. Select an analytics type from the Analytics Type drop-down menu:
  3. Select a sensitivity level from Sensitivity. A higher sensitivity level will yield more search results but may also yield more false alarms.
  4. Select a size from Object Size. An object size of 1x represents one one-hundredth of the search zone size. Click and drag to resize and reposition the yellow rectangle to be smaller than the object you want to search for. This option is only available for Foreign Object.
  5. Select a time from Dwell time. This option is only available for No-Idle Zone.
  6. Under Detection Zone, use any of the following options to set up a detection zone for searching. These options are only available for Motion Detection, Missing Object, and Foreign Object.
  7. Enable the following visual/audio aids to better monitor the live view analytics process:

Enable Analytics

Once you have set up live view analytics for a camera, enable the analytics for Surveillance Station to automatically alert you when a detection is made.

To enable analytics:

  1. Select a camera from the list.
  2. Select Enable from the Enable Analytics drop-down menu.

Note:

View Alerts

Surveillance Station displays an alert count on the right side for each camera. Each alert has an associated recording that can be viewed.

To view analytics alerts:

  1. Select a camera with alerts from the list.
  2. Click View Alerts. You can also right-click the selected camera and select View Alerts. You will be directed to the Alert tab to view all alerts for the selected camera.
