In E-Map List, you can add, edit, and delete e-maps.
To add an e-map:
- Click Add.
- Enter a name in Name.
- Click Upload to upload an image file. You can also drag and drop an image directly from your computer to the field here. The image will be displayed when the upload is complete.
- In left panel, drag the IP camera, I/O module, e-map, door, transaction device, IP speaker links you want to place onto the uploaded e-map. If you want to remove any item, drag the item out of the e-map. The removed item will return to the item list.
- Tick the Hide device name checkbox if you wish to hide the name of the e-map items. You can also tick the Display small icon checkbox to use smaller icons of e-map items.
- Click Finish to save your changes.
Note:
- Browsers that support drag and drop to upload e-map images from your computer include Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer 10 and later.
- Supported image formats: BMP, JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, SVG
- Doors of all controllers will be shown only when Axis Door Controller has been enabled and controllers are installed.
- Transactions device will be shown only when Transactions has been enabled.
- Speaker device and speaker group will be shown only when IP Speaker has been enabled.
- I/O modules will be shown only when I/O Module has been enabled.
- The name of an e-map is case sensitive and can contain 1 to 20 Unicode characters, excluding the following symbols: ~ ` ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) = + [ { ] } \ | ; : ' " < > / ?
The first character cannot be a minus sign or a space, and the last character cannot be a space.
To edit an e-map:
- Select the e-map you want to edit and click Edit.
- You can modify the name, re-upload an image, modify the style of item icons, fix the aspect ratio, and arrange items to update the settings.
- Click Finish to save the changes.
To delete an e-map:
- Select the e-maps you want to delete and click Delete.
- A confirmation prompt appears. Click Yes to continue.
To download an e-map:
- Select the e-maps you want to download and click Download.
- A download prompt appears. You can set the download path and file name.
