After enabling this feature, the events that occur on all devices in the sub e-map will also be displayed on the alarm system.
Alert Reminder
Tick/untick the following checkboxes to determine how alert reminders work:
- Enable beep (sec.): Play a beeping sound when an alert is triggered. From the drop-down menu, you can set how many seconds to extend the beeping after each alert ends.
- Enable alert icon flashing: The alert icon on the upper-right corner of the video channel will flash when an alert is triggered.
- Enable frame hint: The window frame of the video channel will be displayed in red (flashing or stable) when an alert is triggered.
- Enable live view pop-up windows: The live view window of the triggered camera will pop up when an alert is triggered.
- Maximum pop-up window number: Adjust this option to avoid showing too many live view pop-up windows at the same time. When the maximum number is reached, the window popping up at the earliest will be closed automatically.
- Display the latest pop-up window at the upper-left corner: The newest pop-up alert will always appear at the upper-left of corner of the screen.
Note: This option is only supported on Synology Surveillance Station Client.
History Archives
To configure the rotation settings for alert history archives, adjust the values in the following fields:
- Keep history alert logs within (days): Set a duration to retain alert logs. Any log saved earlier than the specified range will be deleted automatically.
- Keep corresponding recordings within (days): Set a duration to retain the recordings corresponding to the alert logs. Any recording saved earlier than the specified range will be deleted automatically.
- Limit the archive folder up to (GB): Specify the maximum size limit of the storage space to archive corresponding recordings. The oldest recordings will be overwritten by new ones when the specified size limit is reached.
