Archive Settings
In the Archive Settings tab, you can configure archive rotation rules and archive-related settings.
Rotation Rules
Under this section, you can configure log archive rotation settings with different criteria for both system logs and event logs. These settings will be checked periodically, and archive rotation will be triggered once any of the criteria are matched.
- Keep logs within (days): Specify a period of time (in days) within which you wish to retain the logs. Any logs that were saved earlier than the specified time range will be deleted automatically.
- Limit the log size up to (MB): Specify the maximum size limit (in megabytes) of the storage space to archive logs. The oldest logs will be overwritten by new ones when the specified maximum size limit is reached.
- Limit the log number: Specify the maximum number of logs. The oldest logs will be overwritten by new ones when the specified number limit is reached.
Storage Destination for Archives
Under this section, you can set up the Destination of log archives, as well as determine whether to archive logs additionally in plain text, and whether to compress archives.
Note:
- If the storage destination is not set, or the set destination path no longer exists, the old logs will be rotated without being archives.
