Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) is a network protocol that provides centralized authentication, authorization, and accounting for wired or wireless network access. DiskStation local system, Active Directory and LDAP server can all be the source for Synology RADIUS Server.
If your network switch or wireless router supports RADIUS for authentication, you can set up RADIUS Server and use DiskStation local system accounts, AD domain accounts or LDAP service accounts to access your home wireless network.
