Data Protection - MCP

When you enable MCP (Message Content Protection) feature on the Data Protection page, you can add, edit, delete, and search MCP rules.

The MCP rules are set to filter or block the targeted emails. If an email matches a rule's criteria, the rule score will be summed to a total MCP score. Once the total MCP score exceeds the MCP threshold score you have specified, the mail system will execute the selected actions: Save to quarantine, Deliver anyway, Delete mail, Notify sender, or Forward.

Configuration of MCP Rules

Tick the Enable MCP checkbox, and the settings of MCP feature will be configurable. You can click Manage MCP Rules to conduct the following operations.

To add an MCP rule:

  1. Click Create in the Manage MCP Rules window.
  2. In the Add MCP Rules window, specify the following items:
  3. Click OK to finish the creation of an MCP rule.

To edit an MCP rule:

Select an existing rule you wish to edit in the list and click Edit. When you finish the editing, click OK to save the changes.

To delete an MCP rule:

  1. Select an existing rule you wish to delete in the list and click Delete.
  2. You will see a confirmation message. Click OK to confirm the deletion.

To search for an MCP rule:

Enter a rule's name in the search bar in the upper-right corner of the Manage MCP Rules window to search for the corresponding rule.

Actions
