You can choose audio sources on the left panel to play its contents at the bottom of Audio Station.

My Music

My Music on the left panel contains the music in the music shared folder or any other indexed folders on your Synology NAS, which is organized into the following categories.

Internet Radio

Audio Station comes with lists of Internet radio stations provided by SHOUTCast(TM). You can also create your own radio lists or add radio stations to your favorites for quick access.

To create radio stations:

  1. Go to Create > User-defined radio or My favorite radio.
  2. In the window that appears, fill in corresponding information (Name, Description, and URL) to add the radio station to the User-defined radio or My favorite radio list.
  3. Click OK.

To add radio stations from SHOUTCast(TM) to your favorites:

  1. Select a radio station provided by SHOUTCast(TM).
  2. Go to Action > Add to favorites or select Add to favorites by right-clicking the selected station to add it to your favorites, which will appear in the My favorite radio list.

Media Server

Audio Station can browse and play media contents on DLNA-certified digital media servers or other Synology NAS servers.

Click Media Server on the left panel to see media servers and Synology NAS servers found in the local area network.

AirPlay & Bluetooth Devices

Audio Station can stream media contents to AirPlay compatible devices and Bluetooth speakers for playback.

To play media contents through AirPlay or Bluetooth devices:

  1. Click My computer/USB speakers/[Media renderer name] (indicating the device you have been streaming music to) to select a device you want to play music with. AirPlay and Bluetooth devices found in the local area network will appear on the drop-down list.
  2. Do either of the following:
